The new 2,700 sq ft shop is due to open this week on Friday, April 28 at 10am, with special guest and fashion blogger Becky Barnes set to cut the ribbon at its opening ceremony.

She will also be on hand throughout the day to offer fashion advice and style tips to customers.

Freshney Place Centre Director, Amanda Austin, said the forthcoming opening of Yours demonstrates how attractive Freshney Place Shopping Centre and Grimsby are to international brands.

Amanda said: "We're delighted to welcome Yours to the centre.

"They're a hugely popular clothing company with stores across the UK, and I'm thrilled that Freshney Place is able to bring this brand to Grimsby. The company opened 17 stores last year taking them past the 100 mark. It's great to have such a rapidly growing retailer in the centre to add to our fantastic fashion offering."

"By welcoming Yours to the centre, visitors will soon have access to a whole host of exclusive fashion lines from brands such as Wolf & Whistle, AX Paris Curve, and Praslin. Everyone at Freshney Place is looking forward to the new store opening soon."

News about the latest addition to Freshney Place comes hot on the heels of the public consultation where plans for the proposed £20m development were unveiled. "This is a hugely exciting time for the centre," added Amanda.

There will also be lots of great giveaways to celebrate the new store opening:

  • One lucky person will win a £100 personal shopping experience via our Facebook competition
  • Fifty goody bags will be given to the first customers through the door
  • One lucky customer will win a £50 gift card amongst their goody bag gifts
  • There will also be a competition ran via the shopping centre's social channels
