Lincolnshire law firm Bridge McFarland Solicitors has announced the integration of counterpart Downes and Siddall in Lincoln.

Partners of Bridge McFarland and Downes & Siddall announced the move, which will take place on 1 March, in the latest stage of their strategic growth plan.

The acquisition will be effective from 1 March 2017 and reaffirms the commitment of both law firms to providing quality driven commercial and private client legal services in Lincolnshire.

The existing offices of Downes & Siddall at West Parade will be closed and enquiries will be directed to Bridge McFarland’s main office on Lincoln High Street. Peter Downes will join Bridge McFarland as a consultant.

Commenting on the merger deal Peter Downes said: “Joining forces with Bridge McFarland is a natural evolution for my firm, enabling the same high level of service to be provided in the future. I am looking forward to working alongside their team of professionals to continue to provide expert advice and support for our clients.”

On 1 March, the newly enlarged firm of Bridge McFarland will be providing specialist legal solutions from their offices on Lincoln High Street in addition to their other office locations in Hull, Grimsby, Louth, Mablethorpe and Market Rasen.
