It will go down as one of those life memories. To be recognised for the hard work and dedication that the team at The Gingerbread House do is fantastic but to be recognised by a world leading bank/foundation is truly mind blowing.

“We have created a model in Humberston that works very well and is supported far and wide, we believe this model can work elsewhere and we are looking forward to the future where we have a number of projects in the pipe line that we are discussing and planning, the first will be the opening of Grant Thorold ‘Tea in the Park’

“It is going to be a fantastic and exciting two years ahead and we are always looking to the future and may diversify to ensure the hubs have a sustainable future for years to come.

“This award would not have been possible if it were not for the loyal support and dedication of all at The Gingerbread House and our wonderful customers and supporters.

Jennifer Tankard, Chief Executive of Responsible Finance, said: “It is inspiring to see the success of The Gingerbread House and how Nathan has created a great community space for the people of Humberston and beyond.
