Grimsby Town announce Young’s sponsorship deal for 2017/2018 season
21st June 2017
GRIMSBY Town will once again be sponsored by Young's Seafood Limited next season.
The UK's number one fish and seafood business has supported the club for over a decade, with the Mariners proudly sporting the Young's Seafood logo on their shirts since 2004.
Bill Showalter, chief executive of Young's Seafood Limited, said: "I'm delighted that we will be offering our continued support for Grimsby Town Football Club for another year.
"We've sponsored the team for over a decade now and the partnership is really important to us.
"We're committed to playing a positive role in the communities in which we are based.
"Our relationship with the club is a key part of this commitment. We look forward to seeing the Young's logo on the shirts and wish all involved at the club the best of luck for next season."
John Fenty, Town director, said: "Grimsby Town Football Club are thrilled that Young's Seafood Limited will continue to support the Mariners for the 2017/18 season.
"It will be the 14th season that the company has been the club's official sponsor and we're honoured to have such a well-known brand give their support to the club and the wider community."
Along with the CEO of Young's, several employees of the company headed to Blundell Park as part of the announcement, showing their support having all been season ticket holders for many seasons.
Having them involved is something that is fundamental to Young's and their emphasis on being part of the community.
Last summer saw the Upper and Lower Stands at Blundell Park renamed the Young's Upper Stand and Young's Lower Stand.
