New fashion store Isla Grace opened in Freshney Place
13th July 2017
The independent fashion store, Isla Grace Boutique, will open its doors to offer a range of competitively priced clothing, footwear and accessories - and the first 50 customers are in for a treat.
As well as Milan-inspired outfits it will be home to brands such as Joe Browns, shoe label Zaxy and Disaster Design Accessories, which is exclusive to the store.
Centre director at Freshney Place, Amanda Austin was looking forward to welcoming the new shop to the centre: “It’s Independent Retailer Month so perfect timing for Isla Grace Boutique to be opening.
"The boutique carries some fantastic Italian clothing and accessories so I’m thrilled to have another fashion hotspot here at Freshney Place.”
The collections at Isla Grace will suit a variety of budgets, with accessories starting from £5, tops will retail from £10 and ‘forever’ pieces like leather jackets and coats cost up to £150.
The boutique’s manager said it would also be stocking a range of sterling silver jewellery made by a local silversmith and its intentions were to use as many local traders and services where possible to help support the local economy.
New pieces will be added on a weekly basis, with the boutique team predicting that the Italian ranges will go well.
To celebrate the new venture, the five-strong team at Isla Grace will be giving away free bracelets to its first 50 customers.
Mrs Austin added: “I’m sure Isla Grace Boutique is going to be very popular with those looking for great labels that offer something a little different. We wish the team all the very best.”
