Lindsey Lower Playing Fields, Cleethorpes
The site is roughly rectangular in shape and is 2.35ha in area. It is within the ownership of North East Lincolnshire Council. The site historically formed part of the playing fields associated with Lindsey Lower School which sits beyond the site’s northern boundary.
It is expected that the site density will be between 30 and 50 dwellings per hectare, delivering between approximately 70 and 117 dwellings.
The site lends itself to the provision of Wheelchair assessable and single storey housing, perhaps with some two storey housing. The density should respond to local context, noting that single storey housing may reduce the amount of dwellings achievable on site.
The site is located in the popular area of Cleethorpes, within easy reach of local shopping and leisure facilities.
