Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire Intro Breakfast

Date Time Location
25 Jul 7:30am - 9:30am Forest Pines Hotel, Broughton, DN20 0AQ

Come along to a breakfast meeting to find out how you can apply for money from a multi-million pound grant pot for greener energy use and cut costs.

Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire is offering small and medium businesses dedicated support to improve their energy efficiency and switch to renewable sources.

We're inviting you to find our more about the £9.2m project that is being run across Greater Lincolnshire over the next three years. We're proud to say: it's the first project of its kind in the country and has the potential to save thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions.

The council was awarded £5.4m funding from the European Regional Development Fund to deliver the project; alongside private sector investment.

The event is an excellent opportunity to see how we can help you get smarter with your energy use for the benefit of the environment and your bottom line. This could include the installation of a new boiler or ultra-low energy lighting with the help of a grant from the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire fund.

Knowledge is power, and the programme offers business leaders a 12 hour energy education and training programme, plus up to £500 worth of energy saving products on completion.

If you're a business with higher energy usage, you could also receive energy efficiency reviews that could provide dedicated energy advice and specialised help, to develop energy saving plans from university partners.

It also reflects the wider priority across the area for developing renewables as a key sector for the economy. We want to bring the success that has been seen with offshore windfarms onshore and into a wide range of businesses that can also benefit from green energy.
