Seafood Grimsby and Humber is a cluster group that represents the seafood sector in our region with a core vision of "championing Grimsby and the wider Humber catching and seafood processing cluster across the supply chain from mobile fishmongers to corporate giants."


The group has a board which directs resources and the vision to more than 75 members who range from sole traders with mobile fish vans to large, multinational corporations. The board also forms part of the wider North East Lincolnshire private sector led Development and Growth board that has over 4000 direct employees based in the region.

Current Board members represent the seafood industry, from catching, landing, auctioning  and processing. Supporting the sector is a £multi-billion cluster and supply chain which includes logistics and distribution; skills, marketing and export; and machinery provision, storage solutions and funding.

Seafood Grimsby & Humber is a prominent organisation within the UK seafood industry supply chain that in 2013* included;

  • £4bn of total seafood supply
